Welcome Johnny Wujek To The Buzznet Family!

Are you ready for the buzz, Buzznet? Johnny Wujek here. First, I just want to say that I am so stoked to be a part of the Buzznet family and so thankful for their support. The fashion world is crazy, but for me the most important thing in life is having fun, loving what I do and inspiring the people around me. I’m fortunate to see this reflected in my life and work as a costume designer/stylist as well as taking on the role as new creative director of America’s Next Top Model. I’m even more fortunate now that I get to share it all with you!

As a kid growing up in a Detroit suburb called St. Clair Shores, I always dreamed of getting out and making it big. I moved to California in my early twenties and started modeling pretty soon thereafter. A few years later, my best friend convinced me to put everything aside and go intern as a costume designer on a major studio movie production. That experience is what sparked the passion in me to adventure on in pursuit of total fashion world-domination. Eventually I was styling for the red carpet and magazine editorials all over the globe, as well as designing costumes for musicians based on my own creative concepts. To top it all off, I was approached last year to creative direct for America’s Next Top Model! All in all, it’s been a total rollercoaster ride, but I've been so blessed, I've definitely had a blast and I'm excited to keep on riding. 

While I can never be completely sure what the future has in store, I'm certain it will be an amazing adventure that will ultimately find me at the top. Whether I’m front row at Fashion Week, behind the scenes of America’s Next Top Model, or side stage at a concert operating some crazy tricked-out mechanical LED costume, you can bet I'll be taking you with me. #BuckleUp
